| PRAISE THE LORD!!! i'm soooo proud to announce that NASTIA LIUKIN has just won the GOLD for Team USA in the Women Gymnastics Individual All-Around!! aaaaaaaaaaaaand SHAWN JOHNSON won the SILVER! WOO HOO!!! we're going to fight for more of those medals in each of the events.. Nastia and Shawn for Uneven Bars, Floor, and Balance Beam.. and Alicia Sacramone [quit giving her a hard time.. its not completely her fault!] on Vault.. ahh i looove gymnastics! btw, MICHAEL PHELPS is doing his thang.. i believe he's 6 for 6 GOLD medals so far.. keeep on going man!!! whoooo hooo!! I LOVE AMERICA =) p.s. ill post pictures soon | | |
| less than 3 weeks left of school.. of my undergraduate education.. of my college experience..
i'm gonna miss it.. i feel it already.. granted, a big part of me is ready to move on, but i know i'm gonna miss this
i've
had a number of realizations in the past couple of weeks.. some hard to
swallow, some sort of just fell into place without further thought.. i
know that there are things i cannot control.. things i cannot change.. but i also have to take the initiative to make moves in my life.. i'm pretty excited for what God has in store for me.. i'm sure it's all going to be great!
but i also have come to realize how blessed i am.. despite whatever else happens, God has truly blessed me.. i'm blessed with great people in my life who have given me hope.. and who show me love in so many ways..
life is extraordinary.

| haha this is just gonna be a really fat entry, but whatevs..
soooo, praise the Lord that ive totally been hooked up this week when it comes to food.. i came home from work on sunday night, hungry as usual after a looong day at work.. and katie brought home a tray of sandwiches and wraps.. a tray of cookies.. a box of individual bags of potato chips.. a bowl of pasta salad.. water.. soda.. aaaand even plastic plates and napkins.. [all from gerlanda's btw.. REALLY GOOD!] haha.. i packed a sandwich and a baggy of cookies for lunch on monday and tuesday.. haha i felt like i was in elementary school.. it brought me back a little bit haha.. so ive been content and full so far this week without necessarily having to spend on food like i do everyday.. amaaazing! [OHHH! .. AAAAAAND, we have the cupcakes here too from when jho, my sister, and i made them at my house =) they're so pretty! haha]
no, no.. but wait! there's more! haha so today, we threw out what was left of the food because.. it was already wednesday.. [okay just the sandwiches, cuz everything else is still good haha] so, i actually went to wawa to pick up my first meal of the day [ciabatta melts highly recommended btw haha] .. sadly, didnt even get to eat it until almost 6pm.. then i rushed off to class to hand in my paper.. learned a bit more about media convergence.. after which, i went home to watch gladiator for one of my classes [i have to write a paper on it].. and again, katie comes home after some event with 2 boxes of pizza [again, compliments of gerlanda's].. more water.. more soda.. more plasticware and napkins.. aaaand, i think that's it?
and whooo knows what tomorrow is?!........... okay ill just tell you.. it's HOT DOG DAY!! which means, there'll be FREE FOOD, giveaways, music, and fun times at bishop beach tomorrow from 2-6PM.. aaaaaand they're going to announce who will be performing at Rutgersfest! [rumor has it - third eye blind is coming.. but i have no confirmation of that whatsoever haha] aand it's supposed to be close to 70 degrees tomorrow.. how exciiiting!
free sandwiches, free cookies, free drinks, free pizza, free hot dogs.. id say, this has been an awesome weeeek! [aside from the endless work that i have] soooo yes.. i enjoy food.. but then again, who doesnt?! =D
hmm i figured i couldn't write a crazy entry like this without having some sort of list.. haha
random thoughts:
- they totally sang SHOUT TO THE LORD on American Idol today.. how awesome is that!
- gladiator is an AWESOME movie.. i definitely never watched the whole thing until tonight
- im a nerd and i LOVE Greek and Roman history.. haha go read about Pompeii.. i promise its interesting!
- not hard to believe, but now i REALLLY want to go to Italy.. hopefully next year?
- im REALLY excited for the weekend to come! i CANNOT WAAAIT! =D
- im really going to miss this.. my college days are winding down and im trying to soak it in while i still can!
- aaand lastly, please pray for my job search.. ... ill just leave it at that. thaanks! much appreciated!
praise the Lord for so many things to smile about.. i'm so blessed because He's so great..

change is inevitable.. and I should just embrace it.. but its hard when you're nervous about what's to come.. whatever it is, I know it'll be great because it'll be a part of God's plan
